How come when a same game is rated, xbox 360 version has a little bit higher rating than in ps3 version?

hehe just wondering..

coz when everytime I visit "ign" and I look the rating for one game I always notice that the xbox 360 version of the game has a higher rating that the ps3 version..How come when a same game is rated, xbox 360 version has a little bit higher rating than in ps3 version?
Developers have had more time to get to know the 360, so most of the 360's versions graphics looks a little better than the PS3 version. Developers also have had more time to work out the bugs on the 360 version than the PS3 version.
Developers have a harder time working with the PS3's hardware. The 360 has been out loneger so the developers have had more time working with it. Also they always try to make the gamers use the sixaxis controller in their games and it never seems to wok right, that always seems to hurt the ratings too.

But it is only a matter of time before that excuse will be over used. It has been out for awhile now so they should be getting used to it.....How come when a same game is rated, xbox 360 version has a little bit higher rating than in ps3 version?
Depends on the game, a lot of games have extra content on one system or another. For example Microsoft has been buying rights to a lot of exclusive downloadable content. In other cases the PS3 score may get hurt cause they tried and failed to use the motion sensitive controller poorly. There are some games which offer more on the PS3 too, it all depends on the game.
Actually the PS3's graphics are better. Don't listen to the bastard above me! They rate 360 higher because on 360 there is more to do such as getting games scores. How come when a same game is rated, xbox 360 version has a little bit higher rating than in ps3 version?
Not only as above, but the Xbox is a tad more powerful machine.
