PS3 or Xbox 360? (Please Read Details)?

I have had a xbox 360 back in early 2008 and after 1 month, I rarely played it. I then bought a PS3 and it has been 2 years and I have been very happy. But, I've seen Halo Reach and Fable 3. I go back and I think of the IGN achievments guides and the spotlight/Inside XBOX section with vids of information and things to keep you enjoyed, great experience, PS3 on the other hand, seems to be not as much, the store is dull and is just demos, games, movies ect... Party chat, little kids we all laugh at, arguments ect....Its all fun to be in...You rarely engage in those conflicts on PS3.



I don't know what to do...I've gotten $800 for a gaming pc that is good and I am a few hundreds off. But since im thinking of getting an Xbox 360 and getting games, I'll be much lower and it will take alot longer to get that pc.(Took 1 year to get the $800. I don't have a job.)



My Friends at school say keep PS3 and the ones with Xbox say buy one. My PS3 friends say game developers are starting to go on Sony's side(Exclusive content, seperate port, ect.) and developers such as Bungie are going to start making multiplatforms since Halo Reach is their last Halo.



What do you think of this? Overall do you perfer PS3 or the Xbox 360? and why?

both consoles are great. graphics and hardware its good.

its just the PS3 offers a lot more. you have free multiplayer, free internet browser, blu ray, and much more.

Either one is really cool to own, PS3 for graphics, XBOX 360 for the games. I would check out www.expert-gamer.info if you are interested in buying either one, I own an xbox that I bought from there, got it way cheaper than bestbuy was selling it.
Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 has pros and cons.

If you want family gaming = Wii

If you want moderate gaming = ps3

If you want hardcore gaming = xbox 360.

well it depends ive always said that the xbox 360 has all the big name games like the halo and fable series ect right now im glad i went with the 360 i totally cant wait for Fable III !!!
Ps3 have built in wifi and internet is free. But you will get internet problems in between. Ps3 has blu-ray which means you can get more no. of games in ps3. Ps3 has bluetooth and can connect around 7 devices. Ps3 has 100% free online gaming, the 360 charges you a annual fee to play any game online or even have a friends list. Ps3 also has something called Home which is 100% free and optional to use where you make a character and run through a virtual world with other people, chat, check out themed areas like a resident evil 5 area with mini games, trailers playing on big screens, an apartment you get to own and decorate. The PS3 has a very good reliability rate: only 0.2% failure rate (note the decimal), while Xbox 360's have a 30% failure rate. So, for every 1000 of both consoles produced, 2 PS3's are defective, whilst about 330 Xbox 360's are defective.





Xbox 360 has more no. of pixel pipelines and you get very good picture quality than the ps3. Internet is not free and you need to buy a wireless adapter for wifi you have to pay for online gaming, but the online features are nice. It doesn鈥檛 have blu-ray, it supports DVD max 8gb so u have less games in Xbox 360.xbox controllers are much better but need batteries. The 360 is pretty loud compared to the PS3. But the slim is better than the older versions. The Slim also has built in wifi.

I think ps3 is better.
