Even though it got a 7.7 rating on IGN?Is Assassin's Creed (for Xbox 360) a game worth getting?
Its hard to explain.



I think it was great, alot of fun to play and its simply stunning in HD



but there is a learning curve to it. This is a game that you cant just pick up and play. I'd say you'll need a good 15 or 20 min. getting use to the controls.



That being said, once you get the hang of the controls, you can go anywhere you want through 4 large cities. If you can see it, you can go to it.



It gets a little difficult when your fighting large numbers of bad guys and at times you may lose track of the story, but all in all its a great game to get especially if you have a high def tv
Yes, the game is definitely worth getting. Although the game is not perfect (like any game is), it is an awesome game. The graphics are great, the storyline is great, and the combat system is great. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you master them, you will become an unstoppable force of destruction and assassination. Here's the deal. You can't always trust magazine ratings. Assassin's Creed is a very cool single player game, but it tends to get repetitive after the first 3 bosses. The controls are simple and responsive, sound is nice, story is ehh, depends on if you like what they're talking about. I found it interesting. So no, its not a game worth getting just because one magazine gave it a mediocre rating.
This is a great game with great graphics and just overall fun to play, but It does not have xbox live, That is why i am no a big fan because i beat it several ways now i am done so i think you should save your money for the new games coming out for example

Don't listen to IGN, It's a good game. Imagine a Grand Theft Auto style game where instead of raising heck in a city with vehicles and guns you're an assassin in a robe silently killing from rooftops and alleys with blades and your bare hands... Muuhahahahaha!!
it was a good game but its more worth renting then buying my boyfriend beat it in 3 days and only played it for a couple of hours each day so your better of renting then owning
It's good but lotz of cooler new stuff coming out on Xbox 360.
