And with those two things and the 360 price drop microsoft may have just turned alot of potential PS3 owner into 360 owners or already PS3 owners into 360 owners.So my question is do you think there is anyway possible with every big PS3 game coming out this year also coming out on 360 that Sony can defeat microsoft not only this year but in the overall console wars because of the winnings mircosoft has jumped out on?Who thinks Xbox 360 has won 2007?
The Xbox 360 has had a great launch(even though it came out a year before the PS3 and Wii) and it has dominated for 2006 and possibly 2007. the Wii has sold many systems and is selling more than xbox 360 but i see the PS3 winning in the end of the console war. Even though the PS3's GTA IV has gotten delayed it still has some other awesome games coming out(Unreal Tournament 3 is gonna come out for it first and for the 360 is coming next year, also theres Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet and Clank Future:Tools of Destruction, Warhawk. But the xbox 360 is gonna come out with bioshock(it comes out in a week but the reviews it received were amazing), also halo 3 is supposed to come out Sep. 25.
But with the lineups coming out for PS3 next year(InFamous, Echochrome, Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots, Killzone 2, and much more will without a doubt be The PS3's year.
I own a 360 myself and try very hard not to call myself a fanboy myself (after six months though, I still can't stop playing Gears) and I have to say that Microsoft probably has 2007. However, look into the future and see what the PS3 is packing. I mean Disgaea 3 (a personal favorite), Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, Final Fantasy XIII and spin-offs, Home, LittleBigWorld, and Dragon Quest eventually, and those are just exclusives. Now yes, some of those may cross-platform, some may have already and I don't know about it. However notice most of those are sequals which means they already have a large installed fanbase (especially tekken, Soul Calibur, and deffinantly Final Fantasy %26amp; DQ). So while the 360 may own up in 2007 with Halo 3, Microsoft will have to watch itself in 08 and beyond.Who thinks Xbox 360 has won 2007?

Well, in terms of overall sales and the like, Nintendo could be the clear winner with the DS and Wii this year.
But in terms of just next gen consoles, Microsoft definitely has the edge right now. Being that I'm a 360 owner myself, I'm very happy that a lot of the previously exclusive Sony titles have gone multi-platform, but don't count Sony out. They did have a terrible launch by any standards, but with some of the exclusives they still have, they could still be in the running for top dog, just as long as both Sony itself along with developers handle the system the right way.Who thinks Xbox 360 has won 2007?

Microsoft may have 2007 if the Wii doesn't catch up to it. But I think PS3 will win in the long run just because of Blue Ray becoming more affordable and more games (good games lol) coming out on the system. Really here's how I see it: Xbox 360 sales rising till end of 2007 and maybe early 2008 then gradually decreasing over the coming years. I see Wii failing in the mid 2008 and then I see PS3 slowly but surely rising to the top. Thats just my opinion but to answer your initial question yes I think Xbox 360 has won 2007.
