What system platform is Fallout 3 best played on?

I have an xbox 360 and a pc. My pc is high-end so no worries on the graphics end, just wondering about gameplay. I know ign did an article on this, but it is for paying subscribers only. I don't want to hear what platform you like. I want to know what platform is best for fallout 3!What system platform is Fallout 3 best played on?
Fallout 3 is best played on your PC, since Bethesda aim was to make it on the PC. so they put all there work on the PC, now as for both XBox 360 and PS3 versions are going to be good, but not as good as on PC
I have now played it on both 360 and ps3, 360 is alot better. The ps3 seems like they did a half heart ed attempt at making it work.

If you have a high end pc then go for PC. In interviews they said they were pushing the 360 way too much graphically. On a pc they mentioned it had no limits other than your pc specs. So they overhauled it a bit more graphically on a pc. The PC has an xbox 360 controller compatibility option.

Blue ray technology is superior to PC graphics. End of story. Anyone who says otherwise should do some research.

I, however, play it on the PC because I do not have a PS3. I do like it better on the PC only because I am terrible at aiming with controllers.

I'd strongly suggest playing it on the PS3... I've had it for PC, 360, and PS3 and it simply plays better on the PS3; anyone who says otherwise is a moron...

The PC is going to obviously be your best bet. Better graphics and cheaper. Everything I've seen has the 360 version as almost identical to the PC with the exception of targeting in the VATS system being much easier with a mouse. The only difference between the 360 and PS3 version as many places have pointed out is that it has slightly worse graphics than the others due to Bethesda having a difficult time coding for the PS3.
It all depends...do you prefer the 360 contoller? or the mouse and keyboard? the peripherals are a big thing to consider if your talking about gameplay...graphically i expect the 360 to be more supior but if you have a high-end rig like you say...you can crank it up to the max and it'll look top! all about personal preferance my friend!


I'm playing it for the 360, but like many have said, PC is probably the best of the 3. The PS3 seems (from a Gamespot review I read) to have some weird audio/visual glitches and is graphically worse than the 360. I haven't played that version so I don't know how bad it actually is though.
I'm seriously enjoying it on a PC.

Quadcore 2.4ghz

4 gigs ram (3 available in XP)

Nvidia 8800 GTS with 640mb

24" flatscreen at 1900x1280



The game looks and plays great.
id say the x360, both decent graphics but the overall experience best on the 360.
i think it would be great on xbox 360
