Why do game sites always give the same game on a PS3 a lower rating then they gave it on a 360?

Specifically IGN, I was browsing through it and every game I searched, the PS3's rating was about 3-5 points lower.

ive noticed that aswell and i have no idea why it is maybe bcoz its the same product but diffrent platform if u know what i mean so nothing new to offer .ps3 got better exclusive games then 360 such as killzone , metal gear solind ,resistence , god of war or coming soon final fantasy.

y score is lower i dont know.. games are the same and some titles look slightly better on ps3 and some on 360 but nothing u would noticed anyway there are the same games at end with same graphics.Why do game sites always give the same game on a PS3 a lower rating then they gave it on a 360?
